Bailey’s Book Club is an American Kennel Club® program designed to provide dog-themed books and related resources to K-12 schools around the country that qualify as Title 1 or have at least 40% of students enrolled qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. The program also provides children with an opportunity to learn about the importance of the human-canine bond. Coeur d Alene Dog Fanciers and Spokane Kennel Club will be collecting new or gently used dog-themed books for children in grades Pre-K through twelve during our annual All-Breed dog show, obedience and rally trial. Books can be left at the collection bin at the club table. While the program is not affiliated with Amazon, a list of recommended books can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1546Y7Q2SYZD9?ref_=wl_share&rel=sponsored
