Reserved RV & Premium Parking

The Coeur d'Alene Dog Fanciers members hope you will find this information helpful in making your attendance planes. Your cooperation is appreciated.

• All parking is a privilege extended by the show-giving club & the Kootenai County Fairgrounds. They reserve the right to withdraw this privilege from any person who uses abusive language, argues with parking personnel or attempts to circumvent the rules & regulations. All parking is at your own risk. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense. The show-giving club & the Fairgrounds assumes no responsibility or liability for damages or loss to any vehicle or its cargo.
• Dos are NOT ALLOWED in any landscaped area at the Fairgrounds. Failure to observe the rules may result in an Event Hearing.
• Everyone using this facility is expected to keep & leave the area clean. Everyone must police their area prior to leaving & pick up all trash; this includes dog hair & cigarette butts.
• Limited handicap parking (with a valid permit) is available for both the general & reserved parking areas. Handicapped parking does not mean “Inside the Fairgrounds” or “Near the rings”. It only indicates a readily accessible surface, but may be some distance from the show rings. Please send a copy of your handicap permit with your parking reservation. Handicap placard or plates MUST be visible on the vehicle.
• In case of emergence, a member of the Show Committee will be available at all times.
• ALL OVERNIGHT PARKING UNITS MUST BE SELF CONTAINED. No dumping of gray water or sewage. All units must have own fire extinguisher on board.
• NO PARKING IN FIRE LANES OR ANY AREA NOT DESIGNATED FOR RESERVED OR DAY PARKING. Violators will be towed at owner’s expense.
• IF IT IS NECESSARY TO RESCUE AN UNATTENDED DOG FROM A PARKED CAR OR CRATE ON THE SHOW GROUNDS, THE CLUB & THE FAIRGROUNDS WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE INVOLVED.
• All vehicles must vacate the premises no later than two hours following Best in Show on Tuesday. Anyone wishing to stay Tuesday night should contact the Fairgrounds.
• All parking fees must be paid in US funds.
• Load/Unload ONLY in marked areas. Once vehicles have been unloaded/loaded, they must be moved to the day parking area. Your cooperation is appreciated.

• Available in EAST lot. ENTER FROM GATE C ONLY (C Gate off Kathleen Ave.)
• NO OVERNIGHT PARKING IN THE GENERAL DAY PARKING AREA. Gates will be locked TWO hours after Best in Show.
• Cars left in Fire lanes will be towed. All equipment must be removed every night from the Day Parking Lot.

Please Note: Due to changes in RV placement next to buildings, landscaping, and construction by the Fairgrounds, parking assignments may not be where they were in previous years.

• Those with reserved parking for Overnight RV & Premium Parking lot will enter thru Gate D, off of Kathleen Ave.
• All vehicles must park as directed by the parking attendants.
• All generators MUST be shut off & dogs keep quiet from 10:30 pm until 6:00 am. Violations may results in an Event Hearing.
• RVs must protect the grass from generator exhaust and require exhaust piping. Please use a side exhaust stack or flex hosing.
• All overnight units must be self-contained. No dumping of gray water or sewage on the grounds. An RV dump station is available next to the north side of the Fairgrounds on Dalton St. There are no water hookups.
• Electric Hookups are VERY limited and are for low AMP use. NO heaters, air conditioners, dryers on the electric hookup. 
• No electrical cords may stretch across roadways or sidewalks.
• No splitters may be used.
• All tow vehicles must fit in the space provided. No blocking roadways. Otherwise you will be asked to park in overflow parking area.
• Please note that due to changes of landscaping and building additions by the fairgrounds parking assignments may not be the same as previous years.
• Those vehicles parked in Executive Parking on the south side of Jacklin Building (#25) must be parked no later than one hour prior to the show and cannot leave until after Best In Show each day. Limited to 9 spaces.
• Premium Day Parking available in RV lot, enter from Gate D, see reservation form.
